The Kaizen Community Run Club
Only 3 weeks after launching the Camp Kaizen brand, we had over 40 people show up to our London Run Club on a rainy November morning.
Only a few days out from our first Kaizen Community Run Club of 2026, we are expecting well over 50 people to join us for our Battersea Park 1 hour run, and the weather looks like it’s going to be better too!

Why is our run club so popular?
A Unique Community of Nice People
Ever since we first opened our doors to welcome people onto camps in 2025, we have made sure that everyone involved in the brand is at heart a good person. Someone you would be happy to go for a pint with. As we continue to gradually scale, we have and will continue to stick with this ethos - good people only. And this remains the case when it comes to camp attendees in 2026. Through our growing community of genuinely nice people, these run clubs are a welcoming and supportive space for all. Whether you’re new to London and want to meet new people, or want expand your fitness network, Camp Kaizen is the community for you.
Meeting Future and Past Camp Attendees
There’s no better advert for Camp Kaizen than the people who have lived the experience. If you speak to enough people at the run club, you will find people who have been on a camp before. They will be happy to chat about what the training camps are actually like. If you’ve signed up already, you’re going to leave even more excited about the weekend, and if you’re on the fence, we’re confident you will be signing up when you get home.
Alongside past attendees, you’re likely to meet others who have signed up for a 2026 camp. The runs provide a great opportunity to learn about why they signed up and generally get to know people who you will be sharing the Lake District experience with in 2026. The Camp Kaizen community is formed before you even arrive on camp!
Not Your Everyday Run Club
Camp Kaizen does things differently. A 5KM trot around the block doesn’t quite cut it for us. Even though the run will be at conversational pace, we find 1 hour of exercise to be the magic formula to a) meet enough new people and b) feel like you’ve had a proper workout. The distance covered will even tick the box for your half-marathon easy run on programme!
Broadening Your Network
The majority of the Kaizen Community are busy corporate professionals, aligned in their love of exercise understanding of the transformative powers of a Camp Kaizen Lake District experience. On the run, it’s very possible that you will meet future business connections from your industry. You never know where a conversation will lead.
