FAQs
1
What is the make of the equipment?
All ergs are Concept2. The sandbags are CompeteForce strongman bags.
2
When will I know what time to arrive?
We recommend everyone arrives around 8.30AM to make the most of the day. The first race of the day will start at 9AM, and the last wave will start no later than 3PM. You will be made aware of your start time the week before the event.
The trail route isn’t overly technical but is still much more difficult than running on concrete. We recommend running in trail shoes, but if you wish to wear regulation running shoes, you can. Whilst in the erg zone, you will need to be in a clean pair of gym shoes. Part of the transition from the erg zone to the trail and back is the shoe change.

12
Yes to both. Showers take £1 coins. We even have a natural river next to the course if you feel like some natural recovery after the race!

If you want hotel accommodation, our Gold Sponsors, The Glaramara Hotel, are just 1 mile down the road.
